Supporting feet

Supporting feet are intended for use in the underground workings of mines for placing side wall arches, straight connection pipes or lower props of friction props made of the V25, V29, V32, V34 and V36 channel shaped sections.

One supporting foot type is used by applying the special arrangement of stabilising parts regardless the size of the placed shape, which prevents a possibility of wrong installation.

The proper interaction of an ŁP support or a friction prop with the rock mass in a mine working is ensured by using a propping foot with appropriate area and thickness according to the compressive strength of the bottom rock.

The foot shape in the construction of the universal SPS-U welded propping foot is closely connected with the working area and thickness of the base and:

 SPS-U foot, area of =300 cm g=8 mm trapezoid,
 SPS-U foot, area of =400 cm g=10 mm quadrangle,
 SPS-U foot, area of =600 cm g=12 mm rectangle.
